Florida Institute of Technology usually referred to as FIT or Florida Tech, is a non-profit, for-profit institution located in Melbourne, Florida, focusing on research and doctorate degrees. There are five colleges at the university: the Honors College, the Nathan Bisk College of Business, the College of Engineering and Science, the College of Psychology and Liberal Arts, and the College of Aeronautics. In addition, more than half of the university's student body attends the College of Engineering. Florida Tech Research Park and Orlando-Melbourne International Airport are only a few miles apart from campus, comprising 130 acres.
