Founded in 1852 by the Congregation of St. Basil of Annonay, France, Saint Michael's College is a catholic university that specializes in liberal arts and sciences education. The institution is primarily concerned with humanities and theology-related courses and research, and as a result, it places a high value on educating students according to Catholic Intellectual ideals.

The Clover Hill Estate, created by William Hay, has one of St. Michael's oldest structures. The institution has now extended to Queen's Park and competes with Regis and Victoria Colleges.

There are now undergraduate courses in Celtic studies, medieval studies, Christianity, and culture at the University of St. Michael's College. To assist students in achieving their educational and career objectives, the undergraduate courses are intended to provide individualized attention.

The faculty and staff on campus constantly contact the students to create a conducive learning environment with flexible class schedules and customized objectives. As a result, the atmosphere on campus is one of openness and friendliness.
