    Coast Mountain College (CMTN) is a publicly-funded, recognized post-secondary educational school that serves the northwest areas of British Columbia. A wide range of educational opportunities is available via CMTN, including vocational training, college credit, and health and human services courses. University of the Arctic and Colleges and Institutes Canada are both college members (CiCan).

    Hazelton, Haida Gwaii, Prince Rupert, Smithers, and Terrace are all campuses of Coast Mountain College (CMTN). One of the seven First Nations that Coast Mountain College (CMTN) served in Northwest British Columbia is Haida, Tsimshian, Nisgaa, Haisla, Giitxsan, Wet'suwet'en, and Tahltan.

    The CMTN Foundation offers scholarships and bursaries to students. In addition, there are more than 680 opportunities to assist Aboriginal post-secondary education available via the Aboriginal Bursaries Search Tool sponsored by the Government of Canada.

    Awards for Aboriginal Women are among the several financial aid opportunities at Coast Mountain College for deserving Aboriginal, First Nations, and Métis students.
