Located in Western Australia's southern region, South Regional TAFE was established in 2016 and offered instruction in various subjects. In addition, vocational education courses are available at the school to provide students with hands-on training relevant to the job market.

CY O'Connor Institute, Great Southern Institute, South West Institute, and Goldfields Institute of Technology Esperance Campuses merged to create the new institution.

About 196,600 square kilometres of land make up the college's campus. This institution for vocational education and training provides various programmes geared at preparing students for employment. It has twelve sites in the Great Southern and South-West regions and an adult learning environment.
