Located in Toowoomba Queensland, Australia, Southern Queensland (USQ) is a regional university with three campuses: Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich. The university established an international and rural Queensland study program was established in 1970 by the university. University College of Southern Queensland was renamed the University of Southern Queensland in 1990, and the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education was renamed Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education in 1971.
