Undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeship and top-up programmes are available at the institution. The institution, which has campuses in Brighton and Eastbourne on the south coast of England, has a multi-disciplinary approach. There is a wide range of academic disciplines, including applied social sciences, architecture and design, art, business, computing and mathematics, education, the environment and technology, health sciences, the humanities, media, pharmacy, and sport and service management. Doctoral College, Language Institute, and Medical School are all part of it.

To address real-world issues and positively impact people's lives, the University of Brighton conducts a wide range of academic research. It is well-known that the school's activities and curriculum help pupils learn how to deal with real-world challenges. In addition, the institution has career centres where advisors and mentors help students find work that matches their unique set of abilities.
