Bournemouth Institution (commonly known as BU) was founded in 1992 and is a well regarded public university in the Dorset area of South West England. Bournemouth University has two campuses, the Talbot Campus in Poole and the Bournemouth campus (Lansdowne Campus). The most notable university buildings are located on the Talbot Campus near Fern Barrow in Poole.
