Founded in 1873, Mount Saint Vincent Institution (often known as the Mount) is a Canadian public university that mainly serves undergraduate students in Halifax. Arts, Science, Education, and Professional Studies are some of the undergraduate programs offered at Mount Saint Vincent University. The Mount offers graduate degrees in 13 different fields, including Applied Human Nutrition, School Psychology, Child and Youth Study, Education, Family Studies and Gerontology, Public Relations, and Women's Studies, to name just a few of them. Acadia and St. Francis Xavier universities have joined forces to provide a collaborative Ph.D. program in Educational Studies at the Mount. As a result, more than 190 courses, ten complete undergraduate degree programs, and four graduate degree programs are available online at Mount Holyoke College (MOHC).
