    JIPMAT stands for Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test. JIPMAT is an entrance exam conducted  by NTA (National Testing Agency) to offer admissions to students in the newly introduced (first session in 2022) dual management degree program of 5 years.

    The exam will be conducted in 76 centres this year. IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu use JIPMAT scores to help with IPM admissions. The JIPMAT 2022 score will be added as 60% of the merit score for IIM Jammu and 70% for IIM Bodh Gaya.

    Students can apply online and appear for 100 questions in JIPMAT paper to be completed within 2.5 hours. The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will comprise sections on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension.

    JIPMAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

    • 10 + 2 in any stream from a recognised board with minimum 60% aggregate marks 
    • A relaxation of 5% is provided to students belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Transgender community
    • Candidates appearing in the current year examination of class  XII/ HSC or equivalent exam by the end of June 30, 2022 are also eligible to apply

    No. You can neither withdraw your application nor get refund of the application fee paid.

     

    16. I made an error in filling the details in the form? How do I correct it?

    You can correct the details through the correction window at jipmat.nta.ac.in during the specified time period.

     

    17. What are the details that I can correct through the Correction Window?

    You can change any of the details that had earlier filled in the exam form through the Correction Window at jipmat.nta.ac.in during the specified correction window:

     

    18. I have made double/excess payment of fee. When do I get refund?

    Extra payment, if any, made by you will be refunded to you, soon after the closure of the correction window, after fee reconciliation. In case you do not receive the refund as stated above, you may write to jipmat@nta.ac.in by stating your application number, name, transaction reference number, date of the transaction, name of the bank/payment gateway through which payment was made.

     

    19. If you  have forgotten your application number, how to retrieve it?

    Visit the official website jipmat.nta.ac.in, click the “forgot application number” button and follow the procedure given there. 

     

    20. How do I get my admit card?

    The admit card will be uploaded on NTA website jipmat.nta.ac.in as per the announcement on NTA website.Check your particulars carefully e.g. Roll No., Name, Medium, Date of Birth, Gender, Examination City/Centre, Date and time of the exam, Category, etc

     

    21. If Admit Card is not received in email, whom to contact?

    24. Can I change my exam city after receiving admit card?

    No change is allowed once the admit card is issued.

     

    25. Am I required to affix my photograph on the Admit Card?

    Admit Card contains a Declaration cum Undertaking regarding COVID 19. You are required to affix your photograph and left hand thumb impression at the foot of the Declaration/Undertaking and also get the signature of your parent affixed at the space provided, before reaching the centre. You will be required to sign on the admit card in the presence of the Invigilator at the exam centre.

     

    26. What is the reporting time at the exam centre?

    Admit card has the information on reporting time.  OR check jipmat.nta.ac.in.

     

    27. What is the latest time for entry into the exam centre?

    Candidate is required to reach Centre as per the Reporting/Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card to avoid any crowding at the Centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.

     

    28. Can I leave the test hall, if I complete the test before time?

    No. You cannot leave the test hall until the test concludes and the invigilator allows you to go.

     

    29. What are the items which are permitted inside the test hall?

    You are permitted to carry, only the following items to the test centre:

    • Pen( Black/Blue)
    • Personal transparent water bottle (500 ml)
    • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
    • Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in and photo affixed.
    • Valid ID cards
    • Photo for affixing on the attendance sheet

     

    30. Will I be given fresh mask at the test centre?

    Yes. You are required to wear the mask given at the test centre during the test.

     

    31. Should I carry some blank sheets to the exam centre for doing rough work?

    No. You will be provided paper at the exam centre for doing rough work.

     

    32. Should I carry a calculator for JIPMAT?

    No

     

    33. Will the question paper be bilingual?

    No, the question Paper will be in English only.

     

    34. Do I have to surrender the admit card to the invigilator at the exam centre?

    Yes. You are required to hand over your admit card to the invigilator after the conclusion of the exam.

     

    35. Am I required to carry a photograph to affix on the attendance register?

    Yes.

     

    36. Will there be negative marking for wrong answers?

    37. Will I get an opportunity to view my responses, the questions and the answers?

    Will I get an opportunity to challenge the answers, in case I feel that the answer to any question is incorrect, in my After the conduct of test, the question paper, recorded responses and provisional answer keys will be made available on the JIPMAT website. Jipmat.nta.ac.in Exact date of display would be communicated after the examination, on NTA website. - Candidates, who are not satisfied with the opinion? answer key, may challenge by filling online application form and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000/- per answer challenged, through the given window. Applications received by hand or by fax or email will not be considered. - Experts test the challenges received, and if needed key is revised. - The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys. - No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result will be entertained. The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. - Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the NTA websites: www.nta.ac.in or jipmat.nta.ac.in for the exact dates and other updates.

     

    38. What is the evaluation methodology?

    Responses will be processed based on the answer keys verified and finalised. NTA shall address discrepancies if any in the following manner If more than one option are found to be correct, post challenge or during key verification - Marks will be awarded to only those students who have marked any of the correct options. If none of the options is correct/Question is found to be wrong – All students who attempted the question will be awarded full marks
