The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, abbreviated as EJU is used to evaluate international students on their knowledge about Japanese language. International students who wish to study in the universities or any such higher educational institution in Japan need to have basic communication skills required in Japanese language.
EJU evaluates both the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and the General Examination for Foreign Students. The exam is conducted twice a year (June and November) in Japan and in many countries of the world.
Students can select which subject tests to take based on the requirements of the Japanese university they wish to take admission in. EJU exam paper includes tests in the following subjects:
Japanese as a Foreign Language
Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology)
Japan and the World
Mathematics
Medium of Exam (Language of Exam Paper):
Students may specify the language the examination language they wish to take (the Japanese as a Foreign Language test is administered in Japanese only) at the time of filling application.

Each applicant is requested to pay the examination fee after registration and make any revision in their application information if necessary, as well as arrange to receive the examination voucher and to complete all other details.
(III) Group Application (Batch Registration Format)
Group coordinators are requested to pay the examination fees after registration and make any revisions in application information if necessary, as well as arrange to receive examination vouchers and complete all other details for all applicants on behalf of their group.
(IV) Group Application (Individual Application-Collective Format)
Steps by individual applicants: Register application information.
Steps by group coordinators: Pay examination fees, make any changes in application information if necessary, and receive examination vouchers.
*Applicants belonging to schools, etc. are requested to confirm your application methods with the schools, etc.
*When you make an application, please use a photograph data of your face with no cap/hat, no background, and front-faced upper body.
Please also be aware that the photo has been shot within 6 months before your application.
