Delhi University provides M.A. Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics. in Economics offers 2-year M.A., the full-time Economics program. This program consists of 15 courses, six of which are compulsory core courses and nine electives. The programs will last for a period of four years. Semester-I includes studying Microeconomic Theory, Mathematical Economics Introductory, Introductory Econometrics.
Indian Students (General Category)
Indian nationals may be admitted via two Direct / Merit Mode or Entrance Test Mode methods. However, a percentage of marks must be achieved for each mode:-
Direct/Merit Mode– An applicant should secure at least 60% aggregate in B.A. Economics (Hons)
Entrance Test Mode– An applicant should secure at least 60% or 1st division or equivalent CGPA in any UnderGraduate/Postgraduate degree in any subject.
A foreign national may be given a choice to either take a Departmental test or submit their GRE Scores along with 2 recommendation letters from their 2 academic referees.
Entrance Test: Who chooses to appear for the entrance test must fill the ONLINE form and apply within the prescribed period.
GRE Scores: Candidate must display a high level of mathematical competence through marks obtained in graduation at the university studied and in GRE test. After filling the form, you might be asked to send it to the university officials.

Candidates must complete the application form by visiting the Department’s official website, i.e. www.econdse.org. The enrolment method includes giving personal details, educational information, experience if any, information of correspondence, uploading of scanned photographs and signatures etc. And lastly there will be a fee payment. Candidates will receive the number and password of their application. The application form will be downloaded using these credentials.
EXAM PATTERN :
Before appearing for the exam you must know the pattern of the same. You must be thorough with the bachelor’s concepts and have knowledge about the below-mentioned topics:
Mathematical techniques used by economists, and
Probability, statistics and elementary econometrics.
Paper will be in offline mode. The question paper will have multiple choice questions for which positive marks will be given and negative marking will be there.
Registered candidates need to pay the following fees /annual charges at Delhi University Campus.

DU PG Exam Centres 2021 - Important Points
The preferences will be given to the DU PG 2021 exam centres according to the number of candidates taking the examination in the same centre.
Candidates are advised to check their DU PG exam centres 2021 carefully before appearing for the entrance examination.
The agency reserves the right to cancel or change any DU PG test centres without any prior notification to the candidates.
It must be noted that after the application submission, the chosen DU PG 2021 exam centres will not be changed under any circumstances.
No candidate will be allowed to sit in the entrance examination centre without the admit card and a valid photo ID.
The candidates will get the chance to choose any one of the DU PG exam centre 2021 while filling out the application form for admission.
