St. John's Medical College, located at Bengaluru was established in 1963. It is a private and offers four and a half year M.B.B.S. course with a one-year compulsory rotating internship. It also conducts postgraduate medical courses. The college is part of the St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences run by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India. There are 150 seats for MBBS admissions which are filled through NEET counselling. The college also conducts postgraduate programs (MD and Diploma courses) for a total seats of 80 and 20 respectively.

Eligibility for MBBS

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with a minimum of 50 percent in each of the courses of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English

• Candidates must have qualified the NEET exam

Eligibility for MD/MS

• Candidates must have qualified NEET-PG

• Candidates for MD/MS must have qualified NEET-PGcompleted an MBBS degree from a university accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) 

• Candidates must have completed a one-year Rotating Compulsory Internship
