    The Cummins College of Engineering For Women, Pune was established in year 1991 by Maharshi Karve. Fiirst all-women Engineering college in India was the Cummins College of Engineering for Women. 

    Cummins College of Engineering for Women is an Autonomous Institute,that comes under The umbrella of its parent institute Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS). The Institute is Affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and is approved by The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE). 

    The Week 2020 gave a ranking of 27 for Private Engineering and 56 for Engineering to the Institute. It has experienced and egistered faculty members and  offers a total of nine courses across one stream at three levels, Including BTech and MTech and PhD.

    Qualifying exam: JEE Main/ MHT CET

    Minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate is required for PWD and backward class candidates belonging to Maharashtra) in Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with Biology or  Biotechnology or Chemistry or  Technical Vocational subjects as optional.

    Or

    Diploma in Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for PWD and backward class candidates belonging to Maharashtra) is required.

    Or

    Class 12 with Mathematics as compulsory subject and minimum 50% aggregate (45% is required for PWD and backward class  candidates belonging to Maharashtra) from a recognised university

    PhD
