College of Engineering,Pune is a Autonomous Government institute and is associate with University of Pune (Savitribai Phule Pune University). The College was founded in 1854. The College is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). COEP is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). In the Outlook-ICARE 2021 ranking, COEP ranked 18 among the Government Engineering colleges.

The College offers various UG, PG and PhD courses in various streams like Management, Engineering and Technology etc. Students can pursue one year PG Diploma programmes also. The selection process is based on online entrance test or interview. COEP also boasts of high placement rates. The College runs many clubs in its campus to provide students a platform for exchanging ideas. Some of theprominent and active clubs are: Astronomy Club, Robot Study-Circle, E-Cell - the Entrepreneurship Club, Aarya Raas and Debate Club.

Can I get admission in coep in civil engineering on the basis of diploma?

Yes, there is an option for Diploma students who want to pursue engineering. You can take admission in 2nd year of engineering when the counseling for college starts.

I scored 91 percentile in MHT CET 2021 So for which college of Pune I am eligible to take admission in B. Tech mechanical engineering.

The basic eligibility criteria for Mechanical Engineering admissions is 10+2th qualification with minimum 60% marks having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. Q. I want to study B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in NITs.
